Nurse Megan
My passion for nursing was sparked while volunteering overseas, working on both anti-human trafficking efforts and providing medical aid. Since graduating with my Bachelor of Nursing degree in 2019 I have had the great privilege of nursing in the Tauranga Emergency Department and now as a Practice Nurse. I have loved both for different reasons, but I cherish the little bit of extra time you get with each person as a practice nurse, as I have a huge heart for establishing meaningful relationships with the people I have the privilege of caring for.
Each day, I intentionally strive to be a nurse with a compassionate heart, who is adaptable, and who thinks about the holistic aspects of my patients.
I am also blessed with my incredible husband, our beautiful son, and cheeky but adorable golden retriever.
In my spare time, I love being outdoors, whether it’s running, swimming at the beach, playing volleyball with friends, or soaking up the sun while enjoying a coffee.
