Since registering in 1991 I have been fortunate to have enjoyed a variety of nursing roles in New Zealand and Australia. I have had the benefit of experiencing both hospital-based nursing in the areas of surgical, orthopaedics, acute pain and intensive care, and in community district and renal nursing. I joined the team at Bethlehem Family Doctors in July of 2021. I have fully embraced the practice nurse role, enhancing my nursing experience with ongoing general practice knowledge and skills whilst also gaining certification in vaccination and cervical screening. I enjoy working alongside patients and their families, providing lifespan education and support to assist our patient community to optimize their health and wellbeing. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family (including furry ones), and friends. I am a keen gardener and home renovator. To relax I enjoy salt-water fishing, cycling and reading.
